I am very interested in building websites that have practical use for the real world. I look forward to projects that give me the opportunity to build new tools that will enhance sites and challenge what is possible for them to do in the future. I enjoy this work because it is challenging and demanding, a good use of creativity. I'm committed to open source development, where I can share pieces that I've built in exchange for pieces built by many others.
I've spent my life doing development. From rehabbing old houses to fixing cars, to co-founding a community bike shop, to breaking ground in urban gardens, I just love helping people find the tools they need to do what they need to do. Now that the Internet has taken over the world, I'm ready to help make that happen for people, too. I'm excited about the spirit of the open-source community, and excited to help build the next generation of the internet for those who need access to it.
